Congregational Teams

How to Get Started and What to Expect

MOST Ministries partners with churches who have at least 12 members with the desire and commitment to serve on a short term mission. These teams have the potential to touch uncountable numbers of people including their church membership, their local community and the nationals whom they will serve. Members of church partnership teams have said that one of the most powerful aspects of their mission experience was the blessings that occurred from and within their own congregations.

If your congregation wants a Church Team but does not have 12 participants, consider joining a team with another congregation. Please contact MOST Ministries for further discussion.

Please review the following three documents: Process, Roles and Responsibilities, and Time Line. These will help you understand the big picture of a Church Partnership Team. Please understand that the Time-Line is certainly a flexible document and can and will be adjusted to meet the individual congregation's personality and needs. As it will state, Church Teams can be organized and processed in less time, but one year seemed like a good place to start. God's Blessings as you peruse this information and prayerfully consider your congregation's participation in a short-term mission. See also our list of On-Line Resources.
