RESPONSIBILITIES |
Team Members' Responsibilities:

To read the Team Training Binder in its entirety
-
To complete the Servanthood Bible Study
-
To attend and participate in all team meetings
-
To be flexible, assuming that nothing will go as planned
-
To cooperate and support the MOST Ministries' Team Leader in all decisions made on the team's behalf
-
To place team unity and the needs of those we are there to serve above yourself
-
To pray for your team, your team leader, your host, and the people whom you will serve
MOST Ministries' Responsibilities:
-
To be available for telephone and/or email consultation
-
To be the communication link between the team and the foreign field
-
To make the final determination as to the location, dates and service of mission
-
To inform the team of any changes and developments regarding the mission trip
-
To provide suggestions for materials needed for the mission service project
-
To make all international and 'on field' travel arrangements
-
To make all 'on field' food and lodging arrangements
-
To acquire and provide foreign travel health insurance for all team members
-
To provide all necessary team training materials
-
To provide a trained MOST Ministries Team Leader to lead travel and on field mission
Team Leaders' Responsibilities:
-
To be experienced in cross cultural ministry
-
To be spiritually prepared
-
To have a viable knowledge of the culture and customs of the individual countries
-
To carry out all team logistics throughout travel and while on the field
-
To be prepared for the unexpected, to react calmly and to coordinate necessary adjustments
-
To be aware of and sensitive to the needs of the team, the host missionary and nationals, and to properly discern priorities
-
To spiritually lead the team and facilitate devotions while on the field
-
To be a gift releaser looking for opportunities for each team member to use their individual gifts
-
To communicate with the team passing on all pertinent information regarding plans and discussions with the host missionary or national
-
To arrange daily team meetings where information about changes and logistics will be shared and discussed
-
To be the decision maker for the team
-
To be a strong leader keeping the team together and organized while traveling
-
To be a dependent prayer warrior, praying and acknowledging dependence upon God in all matters and circumstances
Church Liaisons' Responsibilities:
-
To recruit prayer support for yourself and the planning process
-
To be the primary connection between your church, your team and MOST Ministries
-
To have a servant's heart
-
To be flexible
-
To be a role model for your team members, to the team as a whole, to the host missionary, and to the
-
individuals being served
-
To be an encourager
-
To be a discipler
-
To disseminate all information received from MOST Ministries to your team members, church leadership and congregation
-
To work with your Church Business Manager / Treasurer in collecting team member payments and forwarding them on to MOST Ministries by the due date
-
To recruit team members or other individuals to share specific team responsibilities (i.e. Church PR, fundraising, country / cultural research, etc.)
-
To plan and facilitate pre-field team training meetings
-
To cooperate with and support the MOST Ministries' Team Leader in all decisions made on the team's behalf
